Animal Portrait Commissions

Having focused on wildlife painting for a number of years, painting domestic animals is something I enjoy doing. Whether it is a pet dog or cat, or a prize farm animal or horse, I will gladly discuss a possible commission. I prefer to see the animal and take my own reference photos when possible, but can work from your photos if they are of suitable quality. The clarity and lighting in the photograph are very important in determining the outcome in the finished painting.

2009-2010 Prices for head/shoulder portraits, including frame and local delivery or FedEx shipping. Sizes are before framing:

10" by 8"  $350.00
12" by 9"  $420.00
14" by 11"  $520.00
16" by 12" $650.00
20" by 16" $1000.00

Full body portraits or extensive surrounding scenery average 25% higher.
