Centre County Grange Fair - Artist in Residence
Starting in 2008 and continuing now for the fourth year, I've been honored to be the first ever Artist in Residence at the large and historic Centre County Grnage encampment and Fair, held at the end of August every year for well over 100 years. Each year, I spend much of fair week on site, painting plein air and also photographing the many fascinating facets of the fair for later studio paintings. Paintings are offered for sale as they are completed during the fair, so many have not made it to this page, but available pieces as well as some that have already sold are shown here.
