Prototype Studies for "Change of Classes"

In March of 2009 Karl was chosen by the Pennsylvania State University to paint a large new commissioned piece for the recently remodeled lobby of the prestigious Nittany Lion Inn on the University Park campus. A number of smaller studies were completed by the artist in preparing to paint the main piece. Several of these, along with the large painting, titled "Change of Classes" are now part of the university's permanent collection, but three are available for purchase directly from the artist. These, like the main painting, are original one-of-a-kind oils and are the only ones that will ever be available as a direct part of this project.   Journal, the painting of "Change of Classes"
